Setting Up Product QR Codes

QUICK STEPS

  1. Select a product category to enable (wood, carpet, LVP, etc.).

  2. Configure what customers see when they scan: unit price, product name, species, SKU, stock levels, etc.

  3. Click Save — this is required to actually activate QR codes for that category (selecting the category alone isn't enough; skipping Save causes a scan error).

  4. Optionally set up Internal SKU: embeds a price range into the QR code, showing customers a SKU number while telling your sales staff their negotiating range. Set a minimum and maximum sales percentage per category.

  5. The built-in calculator shows customers an estimated price based on square footage entered and the displayed unit price.

  6. To print: go to the Product List (same process for inventory and non-inventory products), check the boxes for products to activate, and select Bulk QR.

  7. Choose to print the QR by style (one code per product style), then click Print.

  8. Save as a PDF and print on 2x2 inch product label sheets (not a roll).

TIPS:

💡 Use slightly varied percentages for Internal SKU minimum/maximum (e.g., 31% and 53% instead of round numbers) so it looks more like a product code to the customer.

💡 You don't need to reprint QR codes when pricing changes — the code is tied to the product number, and price updates automatically on scan. Only reprint if the product number changes or you upload a new logo.

Remember: Save activates the QR code for a category — don't skip it, or scans will error out.
