Sending & Presenting a Quote

QUICK STEPS

  1. Open the quote you want to send.

  2. Review it first — check customer name, product, square footage, and total.

  3. Click Quote Actions → View Customer Quote to preview exactly what the customer will see.

  4. Click Quote Actions → Email or SMS to Customer to send it.

  5. Optionally customize the message via Customize Email to Customer.

  6. Send — the customer receives a clean, branded PDF with line items and total.

  7. If your customer uses electronic approval, they can sign off directly from the email link.

  8. Once approved, FloorZap automatically updates the quote status and converts it to an invoice.

  9. Track quote status under the All Quotes tab (New, Sent to Customer, Converted, Reopened, Voided, etc.).

TIPS💡Follow up on sent quotes within 2-3 days — a quick call can close it.

Remember: A sent quote isn't an approved quote. Follow up until you get a decision.
