Contract Templates

In this article, you'll learn how to access, view, edit, and create contract templates in Floorzap.

Step 1:

Access the contract templates by clicking on Settings and then Contract Templates.

Step 2:

Several default options are available. View these options.

Step 3:

Edit the default templates to personalize them.

Step 4:

Add a new contract.

Step 5:

Provide a name for your new contract.

Step 6:

Decide whether it'll be a default contract or used on quotes.

Step 7:

Select the contract type, such as material only, labor only, etc. Feel free to type in any information or copy and paste from your existing contract.

Important: Changing the Invoice Type setting on a contract template only affects new invoices created after the change. Invoices already in the system will not automatically display the updated template. To add a contract to an existing invoice, open the invoice, go to Customer Invoice Options, and add the contract template there manually.

Step 8:

Add initials to require your customer to initial in certain areas.

Please note, we're not attorneys at Floorzap. We can't guarantee that our generic contracts will hold up in court. We highly recommend discussing any contracts with an attorney. However, these templates are available for your use if needed.
