Logging Measurements

QUICK STEPS

  1. From the lead or customer record, open the Measurements tab and click Add New Measurement.

  2. Give the measurement a name and add any relevant comments.

  3. Click Get Measurements.

  4. Enter each room separately (living room, master bedroom, hallway, etc.), using clear names for easy reference when building the quote.

  5. Select the area and the service for each room.

  6. Click Add Cut to enter room dimensions.

  7. Add as many rooms as the job requires.

  8. If your company uses one, add a waste factor (a percentage added to account for cuts and seams — check with your manager on your company's standard).

  9. Click Complete Measurement — this logs and organizes all measurements under the customer record.

TIPS💡Ask your manager for the standard waste factor % your company uses.

WATCH OUT ⚠ Measurements feed directly into the quote, so accuracy here saves headaches down the line.
