When connecting Floorzap to QuickBooks Online (QBO), you may see a screen displaying a block of raw JSON code — this is called a pretty print dialog. It appears immediately after you log into QuickBooks during the OAuth authentication step.
This is not an error. The pretty print display is a normal part of the QuickBooks OAuth response. It does not mean the connection failed.
What to Do When You See the Pretty Print Dialog
If the pretty print JSON screen appears during QBO setup, follow these steps to finish connecting:
Close the pretty print dialog.
Return to the QuickBooks Integration settings page in Floorzap.
Click Save.
That's it — you are now connected and can proceed with the QBO setup.
Resetting your cache and reconnecting may cause the pretty print dialog to reappear. The fix is the same every time — close the dialog, return to the QBO integration settings, and click Save.
Seeing the Wrong Company Name in the Connect Dialog?
If the "Connect with QuickBooks" dialog shows a different company name than the one you intend to link, this is caused by browser cookies from QuickBooks Online — not a Floorzap issue. QuickBooks displays the last company you were logged into in that browser.
To fix it:
Open an Incognito / Private browser window.
Navigate to Floorzap → Settings → QuickBooks → Connect with QuickBooks.
Log in to the correct QBO company.
Alternatively, clear your browser's cookies from quickbooks.com before reconnecting — this has the same effect as using a private window.
To confirm or change which QBO company Floorzap syncs to after connecting, see How to Verify Which QuickBooks Company Floorzap Is Connected To.
