What is the Chart of Accounts?

The Chart of Accounts (CoA) lists all of your General Ledger (GL) accounts and their current balances. It serves as a real-time, drill-down Balance Sheet, allowing you to easily view both totals and detailed breakdowns of your assets, liabilities, equity, etc.

While Floorzap provides a standard CoA, you can customize it by adding or removing GL accounts to meet your specific business needs.

How do I use the Chart of Accounts?

The Chart of Accounts organizes all GL accounts by account type and provides real-time running balances.

Each account type and sub-type can be expanded to reveal the “child” accounts that make up the total balance.

You can also click on any individual account to drill into the General Ledger transactions that contribute to its current balance.
