Assign Skid to a Work Order

The Assign Skid option, located under Work Order Actions in Floorzap, allows you to link a specific inventory skid to a work order.

A skid refers to a pallet or grouped bundle of materials. Assigning a skid to a work order helps clearly define which materials are allocated to that job.

Why use Assign Skid?

Using this feature helps:

• Ensure the correct materials are tied to each work order
• Make it easier for warehouse staff to stage and prepare materials
• Help installers quickly identify and pick up the right items
• Improve tracking and organization of bulk materials

How to set up skids

Before assigning skids to work orders, they must be created in your system:
