Reporting Use Tax
Tax Report
Go to:
Reports > Accounting > Tax Report
Requirements
• The job must be signed for it to appear in reports.
Report Displays:
• Material cost
• Use tax amount
• Total sales
• Sales tax (will be zero for use tax jobs)
• Customer payments
• Non taxable sales
• Verification formula (Material Cost × Rate)
Tax Journal Reports
Go to:
Taxes > Tax Journal Reports
You can:
• Run journals for specific periods
• View sales tax and use tax per job
• Save journals
• Track payments
• Send sales tax payable to QuickBooks Online
This provides a clear payment history and month end workflow.
