How to Set Up Zap Assist: Integration URL and Configuration Guide

Learn how to correctly configure Zap Assist on your website, including the required integration URL, Agent ID, and Account ID, and what to do when leads aren't coming through.

Updated today

Zap Assist is a chat widget you embed on your website to capture leads and route them directly into Floorzap. When a potential customer fills out the Zap Assist form, their contact information automatically flows into your account — no manual data entry required.

For Zap Assist to work correctly, the integration must be configured with the right credentials and the correct server URL. Missing or incorrect information is the most common reason leads don't come through.

What You Need to Set Up Zap Assist

Before embedding Zap Assist on your site, gather the following from your Floorzap account:

  • Agent ID — Your unique Zap Assist agent identifier

  • Account ID — Your Floorzap account identifier

  • Integration URL — Must be set to https://integrations.floorzap.info

Important: The integration URL must be exactly https://integrations.floorzap.info. Using a staging, test, or incorrectly formatted URL is the most common cause of Zap Assist not working.

How to Verify Your Setup

  1. Confirm your Agent ID and Account ID are entered correctly in the Zap Assist embed code on your website.

  2. Confirm the integration URL matches https://integrations.floorzap.info exactly.

  3. Submit a test lead through the widget on your site.

  4. Check your Floorzap account to confirm the lead appeared.

Troubleshooting: Leads Not Coming Through

If you've embedded the Zap Assist widget but leads are not appearing in Floorzap, work through these steps:

  • Check the integration URL — Make sure it is set to https://integrations.floorzap.info, not a staging URL or any other variation.

  • Verify your Agent ID and Account ID — Even a small typo will prevent the integration from connecting. Copy these values directly from your Floorzap account settings.

  • Test on a live page — Zap Assist requires a publicly accessible page to function. Test on the actual site URL, not a local development environment.

  • Contact Floorzap Support — If you've verified all of the above and leads still aren't coming through, contact our support team and include your Agent ID, Account ID, and the URL where the widget is embedded.
