How to add a Placeholder Installer and Mark Ready to Schedule

Learn how to mark a service as ready to schedule and if needed add a "TBD" installer.

In this article, you'll learn how to indicate that a job is ready to be scheduled, even if you haven't assigned a contractor yet. This feature is beneficial for your ordering or scheduling department.

Step 1: Navigate to the Contractor Actions section.

Step 2: Choose a contractor from the list.

If you're not sure which contractor to assign yet, but want to show that the work order is ready for scheduling, follow the next steps.

Step 3: Create a TBD (To Be Determined) installer.

Step 4: Select the TBD installer you've just created.

Step 5: Insert your TBD installer.

Step 6: Confirm by clicking OK.

Step 7: Return to the Contractor Actions section.

Step 8: Click on Mark as Ready to Schedule.

This action informs your ordering or scheduling department that the job is ready for scheduling. Once they receive this information, they can schedule the installer for the job.
