Bundling vs Grouping
Understanding the difference between bundling and grouping.
In this article, you'll learn the distinction between bundling and grouping, and how to effectively use these features.
Step 1: Understand Grouping
Grouping allows you to organize the line items in your quote. This helps in presenting a well-structured quote to your customer. For instance, you might have line items like bedroom remodel, one floor, and kitchen remodel. You're free to group as many different services for the job as needed.
Step 2: Understand Bundling
Bundling, on the other hand, lets you combine several line items into one bundle. This feature provides an opportunity to list them as one all-inclusive price. So, on your quote, work order, and invoice, they'll all be broken down by the line item. However, anything customer-facing will be a one all-inclusive price.
