5.2.8 Release Notes

09-23-2025

🌟 What’s New

  • Inventory Module: We've released a major backend refactor of the Inventory Module focused on increasing reliability, reducing tracking errors, and improving support for unit of measure (UOM), costing, and roll-level inventory logic. This update includes fixes for several bugs and inconsistencies that impacted material allocation, quantity edits, and cost display.

  • Contractors can now view task details and notes directly from the task calendar, thanks to a new view icon. This makes it easier for in-house installers to access all the info they need.

  • Bulk export for products now has clearer messaging. Users are prompted to select items before exporting, reducing confusion and preventing empty exports.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where estimated square footage wasn’t displaying in lead information after saving, so your lead details are now accurate.

  • Filters on the Schedule List page now persist and work as expected, so your saved filters actually filter the data you want.

  • Filtering Material Jobs by sales rep now only shows jobs for the selected rep, fixing a bug where jobs for other reps appeared.

  • Work Order and Invoice quantities and totals now match up correctly, fixing inflated numbers that caused confusion.

  • Payment methods no longer show as “Null” when posting payments—your selections are now accurate.

  • QR code pricing now pulls directly from inventory, so QR codes reflect the correct prices.

  • Quotes can now be sent via email without errors, resolving previous issues with the send function.

  • An outdated quote data is prevented from saving after a quote has been updated elsewhere, example is after customer approval. If you try to save an old version, you’ll be prompted to refresh the page to fetch the latest changes, ensuring data integrity and preventing duplicate records.

  • Quote email templates now display all placeholders correctly.
